Hito Buffered 4% Paraformaldehyde (PFA) Solution is a filtered, colorless, clear and ready-to-use solution. PFA is a useful fixative for cells and tissues to be histologically processed as it preserves cell structures. Care should be taken to protect the user from direct skin or mucous membrane contact during preparation and use of PFA.

This solution is freshly made from paraformaldehyde powder and phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.2-7.5). It may be stored at room temperature for one year without change of the original quality.
